Signature Theatre has announced another one-week extension for The Wayside Motor Inn by A.R. Gurney, directed by Lila Neugebauer. The production will now play through Sunday, October 5, 2014. The Wayside Motor Inn opened Thursday, September 4 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). $25 subsidized tickets for the production's initial run, through September 21, are sold out. Tickets during the extension, starting September 23, start at $55 each.

The cast includes Kelly AuCoin (The Call, "The Americans") as Andy, Jon DeVries (The Apple Family Plays, American Gangster) as Frank, Quincy Dunn-Baker (Signature Theatre's The First Breeze of Summer, The Big Wedding) as Ray, Rebecca Henderson (The Whale; Too Much, Too Much, Too Many) as Ruth, Tony Award-nominee Marc Kudisch (Hand to God, 9 to 5) as Vince, Jenn Lyon ("Saint George," The Coast of Utopia) as Sharon, Lizbeth Mackay (Picnic, Domesticated) as Jessie, David McElwee ("Boardwalk Empire") as Phil, Ismenia Mendes (Much Ado About Nothing) as Sally, Will Pullen (Scarcity, Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra) as Mark.

Outside Boston, ten people-some strangers, some not-struggle with the circumstances that have brought them to The Wayside Motor Inn. With old grudges and new feuds threatening the travelers' peace, this funny and moving work kicks off A. R. Gurney's Signature Residency by examining the tenuous space between loneliness and connection, and the fragile framework of the American Dream.

The design team includes Andrew Lieberman (Scenic Design), Kaye Voyce (Costume Design) Tyler Micoleau (Lighting Design), Stowe Nelson (Sound Design), Charlotte Fleck (Dialect Coach). Donald Fried is the Production Stage Manager. Casting by Telsey + Company, William Cantler, CSA.

For sold out performances, a waitlist starts at the Box Office one hour prior to curtain. A limited number of $25 tickets for performances through September 21 may be released the day of the performance. For more information on Signature's waitlist policy, please visit signaturetheatre.org.

Signature offers Student Rush tickets for extension performances.
