Filmingk has announced the New York premiere of Scott Peehl's short thriller Curiosity, starring Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson. It will be shown at 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 23rd at the Anthology Archives in the East Village.

Curiosity will be screened before Zero Effect, starring Bill Pullman and Ben Stiller, as part of "The Onion Presents" film series. The short film "is a suspenseful look at the dark consequences of a young man's inquisitive nature," according to press notes. It premiered at the Palm Springs ShortsFest and went on to get distribution through Big Film Shorts.

Curiosity was aquired by TLA Releasing and debuted on DVD in January '06 on the Celebrity Mix Shorts DVD available at TLA, Tower Video, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.

Jackson--who will be seen in director Paul Greengrass' upcoming feature film Flight 93--most recently starred in All Shook Up. His previous Broadway credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie and Aida (as a standby for Radames). He was among the premiere cast of Altar Boyz, is a member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices, and has appeared regionally in West Side Story, The Most Happy Fella, Children of Eden, Hair, Carousel, Damn Yankees and Kismet.
