Broadway songbird and small screen star Sara Ramirez will give television viewers a treat tonight when she perform a special rendition of the holiday classic 'Silent Night' a capella on tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, according a tweet from Grey's head writer and producer, Shonda Rhimes.  Grey's airs Thursdays on ABC at 9pm EST.

Ramirez plays series regular orthopedic surgeon Dr. Callie Torres in the popular hospital drama and is joined by stars Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, Jr., Sara Ramirez, Eric Dane, Chyler Leigh, Kevin McKidd and Jessica Capshaw.

Ramirez has starred on Broadway in Spamalot, for which Sse won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as The Lady of the Lake, Dreamgirls, A Class Act, Ther Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythem, and The Capeman. She has additionally appeared in The Vagina Monologues at The Westside Theatre with Tovah Feldshuh. She plays series regular Dr. Callie Torres on ABC's Grey's Anatomy.

Grey's follows the lives of five surgical interns, later residents and their mentors in the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Winner of two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards, the show is one of the most watched prime time television series.
