The Dirty Rotten Producers are proud to announce that their Tony Award-nominated leading lady, Sherie Rene Scott, has extended her contract, and will continue with the hit show through Fall 2006.

Sherie, who received rave reviews for creating the role of 'Christine Colgate,' will take a leave from the show on February 19th, 2006 only to return Tuesday, June 20th.

In the interim, she will star in the Signature Theatre Company production of John Guare's play, "Landscape of the Body," opposite Lili Taylor (March 28 - May 21, 2006).

In addition to the Tony Award nominations, Sherie received Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award nomination for her role in the Jeffrey Lane / David Yazbek musical.

Upon re-signing her contract, the multi-tasking Sherie said, "I'm so glad we worked out schedules and that I can continue with the show, and do the John Guare play with Lili Taylor -- a project I adore."

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS won the 2005 Drama League Award as Best Musical, and was nominated for 11 Tony Awards. With a book by Jeffrey Lane and music and lyrics by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS stars John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz, Joanna Gleason, Gregory Jbara and Sara Gettelfinger. The production is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.

As previously announced, two-time Tony Award-winner, Jonathan Pryce, succeeds Mr. Lithgow on January 17, 2006.
