BroadwayWorld has been running the very popular Seth's Broadway Chatterbox on its radio station for several years and now, in 2010, BroadwayWorld.com and Seth's Broadway Chatterbox have teamed up again to not only bring you the show via the radio station - but now with full length videos - right here on the site!

Seth's Broadway Chatterbox is a one hour weekly talk show hosted by Seth Rudetsky, and includes interviews and performances by noted Broadway celebrities. The show takes to the stage Thursday evenings @ 6 PM at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th St. in New York City, between 8th & 9th Avenues). The cost is $10 (which is donated directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids) plus a 2 drink minimum.

Previously, before the holidays, to kick things off before the "official" launch, we brought you Rudetsky's interview with Brent Barrett, currently starring in CHICAGO. Watch the life broadcast here!

After a holiday hiatus, Seth's Chatterbox returns with a celebration of the Forbidden Broadway book with the show's composer Gerard Alessadrini and stage star Nora Mae Lyng, the show's original cast member.

Forbidden Broadway: Behind the Mylar Curtain (Applause Theater and Cinema Books), written byGerard Alessandrini with Michael Portantiere, is a no-holds-barred chronicle of the revue that has delighted audiences in New York City, Los Angeles, London, and all around the world for three decades, spoofing shows from Les Misérables to Wicked and stars from Ethel Merman to Hugh Jackman. This journey through the creation and history of Forbidden Broadway offers an inside glimpse at the evolution of the show in its 20 incarnations to date, with parodies, hilarious lyrics and behind-the-scenes stories.

Gerard Alessandrini is best known for creating, writing and directing all the editions of Forbidden Broadway and Forbidden Hollywood in New York, Los Angeles, London, and around the world. Also a member of the original cast of Forbidden Broadway, he is the recipient of an Obie Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, two Lucille Lortel Awards and six Drama Desk Awards for Forbidden Broadway as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Drama League. In 2006 he received a special Tony Award Honor for Excellence in Theater.

Seth's Broadway Chatterbox is now BroadwayWorld.com's second weekly video series, along with the very popular Broadway Beat.
