Tomorrow, May 25, Stanley Tucci will be honored by Sardi's with a famed wall caricature. On hand to celebrate will be the cast of Broadway's LEND ME A TENOR, including Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Justin Bartha, Jan Maxwell, Brooke Adams, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, and Jay Klaitz.

Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR is the recipient of three Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Play, four Outer Critics Circle Award nominations including one already won by Jan Maxwell, and three Drama League Award nominations.

Set in the 1930s, LEND ME A TENOR is a screwball comedy that takes place when Tito Merelli, the fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, arrives in Cleveland to make his debut with the local opera and promptly goes missing. As Saunders, the show's presenter, conspires to cover for Tito's absence, placate his hot-blooded wife, and distract his most passionate fans, chaos on a truly operatic level ensues.

Ken Ludwig's comedy LEND ME A TENOR will conclude its limited Broadway engagement on Sunday August 15 at the end of the actors' contracts. An extension through Labor Day is under discussion and subject to the actors' schedules.

It is produced by The Araca Group, Stuart Thompson, Carl Moellenberg, Rodney Rigby, Olympus Theatricals, Broadway Across America, in Association with Lisa Cartwright, Wendy Federman/Jamie deRoy/Richard Winkler, Spring Sirkin, Scott and Brian Zeilinger.

LEND ME A TENOR's design and creative team is John Lee Beatty (set designer), Martin Pakledinaz, (costume design), Kenneth Posner (lighting design), and Peter Hylenski (sound design). Patrick Vaccariello is Musical Supervisor.
