SWAMP Seeks Support For Long-Running Houston Short Film Series THE TERRITORY
By: Katricia Lang
Now, she and SWAMP want the television show to expand, to broadcast nationally, so they've launched a Kickstarter campaign to reach their goal. "[The series] gives Houston a platform to showcase our local talent to a broad audience," says Mower. "We want to help their films be seen by as many people as possible."
As an incentive to donors, SWAMP offers "experiential rewards like Being A PA [production assistant] for a day, a walk on role in an upcoming short, skyping with directors, [and] VIP tickets to LAST NIGHT AT THE ALAMO," says Mower.
"We are working on building a strong film culture in our city," says the filmmaker. And "having a quality series like THE TERRITORY available to Houston viewers will help grow our local film community and build our city's reputation within the larger film industry."Photos courtesy of THE TERRITORY
