KINKY BOOTS' Annaleigh Ashford sat down with the web series ACTOR CHAT to talk about growing up with a love of the arts, always looking forward, her 'magical moments' onstage and more. Check out the interview below!
The Tony nominee will depart Kinky Boots this Sunday, March 2 to join the cast of Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX. Jeanna de Waal will take over as 'Lauren,' beginning March 4, 2014.
Ashford is best known for her work in Rent (Maureen), for which she was nominated for a Drama League Award and a Clive Barnes Award, Dogfight (Marcy), Wicked (Glinda), and Legally Blonde (Margot). She made memorable appearances in Sex and the City: The Movie and in the Jonathan Demme film, Rachel Getting Married. She has a lead role in the upcoming independent feature film Franny, starring Francis Fisher.
