Opening February 18th at UNDER St. Marks, Set Yet in Motion presents ancient Greeks who must contend with the Judeo-Christian God. Immanuel Kant and Friedrich Nietzsche address the intellectual and romantic tension between them. Also, there's onstage sex!* (*Verbal, metaphorical. Some would say that's the sexiest kind of sex.) A good time will be had by philosophers, artists, and geeks from all walks of life.

Playwright Alaina Hammond is joined by director Sarah M. Chichester and a slew of multi-talented actors to present this delightfully sexy, clever and sardonic take on Greek philosophers and Greek Gods as you have never seen them before.

Set Yet in Motion will play as part of the 2016 FRIGID Festival at UNDER St. Marks
(94 St Marks Place, New York, NY) Thursday, Feb 18th at 10:30pm, Sat, Feb 20th at 2:10pm, Mon Feb 22nd at 10:30pm, Sat, Feb 27th at 5:30pm, and Fri, March 4th at 8:50pm. Tickets are $18 and are available at www.horseTRADE.info.

Alaina Hammond (Playwright) has had over thirty one-act plays produced in New York, including The Party Continued (InGenius Short Play Festival, directed by Michael Bordwell), My Country Burns (Estrogenius Festival, directed by Michael Bordwell), and Good Day For Darveny (Dixon Place, directed by Sarah M. Chichester). She has acted in many off-off Broadway plays and Total Retribution, an independent sci-fi movie directed by Andrew Bellware. She's currently seeking representation for her novel, Prior To The Showing, and studying philosophy and education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
