SALSA, MAMBO, CHA CHA CHA Musical Heading to the U.S.?

According to Billboard, Cuban musical Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, which just opened in Havana this week, might be heading to the U.S. Directed by Fela!'s Maija Garcia, the revue-style show focuses on Cuban music, dance, and culture. The sold out show, which plays at the Mella Theater, is currently seeking backers to export the musical.

Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha features music production by slasa star Issac Delgado and choreography by Santiago Alfonso. Debbie Ohanian is producing the project. She said of the show: "I think the world is a better place when it listens to Cuban music."
