The cast for a star-packed revival of Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park will feature Jill Clayburgh and Tony Roberts along with Amanda Peet and Patrick Wilson.

The show, which will start previews in January, has yet to book a theatre, but will be directed by The New Group's Scott Elliott (The Women, Three Sisters) in its first-ever revival. Lead producer
producer Robyn Goodman stated "A year ago we did a reading of the play with Amanda, Patrick, Jill, and Tony, and they were sublime. We're thrilled that everyone's schedules have worked out to make this production a reality."

Barefoot in the Park is a romantic comedy that follows the newlywed lives of Paul, a low-key lawyer and Corie, a Greenwich Village bohemian. The original show, which opened on October 23rd, 1963 at the Biltmore Theatre, starred Elizabeth Ashley and Robert Redford for a long run of 1,530 performances. A 1967 film that paired Redford with Jane Fonda then followed; it was directed by Mike Nichols.

Peet recently starred in the off-Broadway production of Neil LaBute's This is How It Goes. Her film credits include A Lot Like Love, Melinda and Melinda, Something's Gotta Give, Igby Goes Down, Changing Lanes and The Whole Nine Yards. Wilson was nominated for an Emmy for his performance in the HBO telefilm of Angels in America, and has also appeared on Broadway in The Full Monty, Trevor Nunn's revival of Oklahoma! (he received Tony nominations for both performances) and on screen in the movie version of The Phantom of the Opera.

Clayburgh, who will play Corie's mother, is a two-time Oscar nominee for An Unmarried Woman and Starting Over. Her other film credits include Fools Rush In and Silver Streak, and she has appeared on Broadway in Pippin, Jumpers and Design for Living, among others. Roberts, who will play neighbor Victor Velasco, received Tony nominations for his performances in How Now Dow Jones and Play It Again, Sam in addition to appearing on Broadway in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Victor/Victoria, Cabaret, The Seagull, They're Playing Our Song, Sugar and many others. He also has an extensive resume of film appearances including Victor/Victoria, Hannah and Her Sisters and Annie Hall.
