Norwegian Cruise Line and NYC & Company will host Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, Master Baker Buddy Valastro, cast members from Broadway musical Rock of Ages, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants and artist Peter Max at their interactive "Norwegian Breakaway Warming Station" on Monday, January 28, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, on Military Island in Times Square.

Visitors are invited to visit the "Warming Station" where they have the opportunity to get a "break" from the cold weather and a hint of the warm weather, sunshine, and the high-caliber dining and entertainment options that the new cruise ship will offer guests when she sails from New York year-round to Bermuda, Bahamas & Florida and the Caribbean beginning in May 2013. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Norwegian Breakaway's celebrity partners, including Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, who helms three restaurants on the new ship including Ocean Blue, an upscale seafood dining outlet that is the chef's first restaurant at sea; the Master Baker Buddy Valastro, who is opening an outpost of Carlo's Bake Shop on the ship; iconic artist Peter Max, who designed Norwegian Breakaway's hull art; and everyone's favorite Nickelodeon character, SpongeBob SquarePants.
Patrons can meet and take photos with the celebrity guests, learn about the ship's exciting NYC-inspired amenities or take a photo in a beach-themed setting that can be uploaded and shared on Facebook right from the station. Guests can also enjoy complimentary food & drink, including Chef Zakarian's warming winter cider "Glogg" and signature NYC-style Sabrett Hot Dogs. To add to the excitement, visitors can also win special prizes hourly, including tickets to see the participating Broadway Week smash-hit Rock of Ages, or dinner at one of Geoffrey Zakarian's NYC Restaurant Week participating restaurants, The National.
