R.Evolución Latina (www.revolucionlatina.org) is proud to present its Beyond Workshop Series. The BWS is a FREE educational workshop where renowned NYC teachers from various disciplines in the performing arts, lend their talent and time to teach dance, voice, and acting workshops. These classes are offered to performing artists that are looking to further develop their skills and have a commitment to give back to the community. The BWS consists of 3 classes: Dance, Shakespeare, and Vocal Experience.

This year, Amanda Turner (Theater Dance), Daniel Fetecua-Solo (Limón Technique and Colombian Traditional Dance), Dario Vaccaro (Modern), Gabriela García (Lyrical Jazz), Marcos Santana (Musical Theater and Latin Funk), Michael Cusumano (Ballet), Luis Salgado (Latin Fusion) Rebeca Tomás (Flamenco), Rickey Tripp (Jazz and Contemporary), Ian Hersey (Shakespeare), and William Wade (Vocal Experience) are volunteering their time and talent to the program.

Participants of the Beyond Workshop Series are encouraged to become involved in R.Evolución Latina's educational programs and events, enabling them to become teachers and leaders by sharing our message, inspiring young children, and perpetuating a cycle of giving within communities. This is what we call the "Circle Effect." "No one cares to facilitate free opportunities for adults," says Founder and Director Luis Salgado. "Whenever there is an event or program for kids, people jump in right away to help out. But who are the people who do give their time and talent to these kids? Adults who carry in them a talent or the desire of giving. We start the circle by providing THEM with something. We empower them so they can and WANT to pay it forward."

The circle of giving fulfills R.Evolución Latina's mission of empowering the artistic to inspire growth within the Latino community and beyond."

R.Evolución Latina has created an album, DARE TO GO BEYOND: THE ALBUM to raise funds for programs like the Beyond Workshop Series. Luis gathered a talented group of singers, songwriters and musicians to share their talents and stories of Going Beyond. Tracks include original songs written and recorded by R.Evolución Latina activists such as "Our Deepest Fear", "Dare to Go Beyond" and "Atrévete a Más" and popular re-makes such as "Yo Puedo" and "Anyway". This album features artists such as Corbin Bleu (In The Heights, "High School Musical"), Joshua Henry (Scottsboro Boys), Josefina Scaglione (West Side Story), Janet Dacal (Wonderland), Andrea Burns (In the Heights), William Cepeda, and Choco Orta. The album can be purchased through the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS website.

By supporting the Beyond Workshop Series, you are cultivating an army of leaders who are committed to giving back to our youth and our communities. You are helping us "be the change we wish to see," and you are being part of our Circle Effect.
