Roundabout Theatre Company is thrilled to announce a one-week extension of the acclaimed new Broadway production of The Ritz now through Sunday, December 9.

Rosie Perez and Kevin Chamberlin star in Terrence McNally's comedy The Ritz, directed by Joe Mantello at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th St). The Ritz opened officially on Thursday, October 11, 2007.  This limited engagement has been extended one week through Sunday, December 9.

"The Ritz is an over-the-top comedy that takes place in a bathhouse in Manhattan. When Gaetano Proclo needs to hide from mobster Carmine Vespucci, he escapes to the Ritz. When Gaetano realizes the Ritz is a gay bathhouse and not a Turkish bath, he pretends to be a big-time Broadway producer to keep suspicions low. When Carmine locates Gaetano what transpires is wild, manic mayhem," describe press notes.

The cast includes Brooks Ashmanskas (Chris), Rosie Perez (Googie), Ashlie Atkinson (Vivian Proclo), Patrick Kerr (Claude Perkins), Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Tiger), Terrence Riordan (Michael Brick), Seth Rudetsky (Sheldon), Adam Sietz (Abe), David Turner (Duff), Lenny Venito (Carmine Vespucci), Ryan Idol (Patron), Teddy Coluca (Patron), Billy Magnussen (Patron), Mark Leydorf (Patron), Matthew Montelongo(Patron), Angela Pietropinto (Aunt Vera), Jeffrey Evan Thomas (Patron), Josh Breckenridge (Patron), Justin Clynes (Patron), Andrew Cooksey (Patron), Nick Mayo (Patron) and Dillon Porter (Patron).

The Ritz features choreography by Christopher Gattelli. The design team includes Scott Pask (Sets), William Ivey Long (Costumes), Peggy Eisenhauer and Jules Fisher (Lights) and Tony Meola (Sound).

Tickets are available by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at 212-719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the Studio 54 Box Office (254 West 54th Street). Ticket prices range from $31.25 - $96.25.
