The Broadway at Birdland concert series was excited to present the New York debut of Lenk Lewk Live!, starring actor/comic Tom Lenk. The one-night-only event took place on Monday, December 5. Tom's very special guest was Lesli Margherita, star of Broadway's Matilda.
Since his debut/farewell Broadway performance in Rock of Ages, Tom Lenk has become a "Haff-assed, low price, HI FASHUN icon" and finally brought his music/comedy/storytelling shenanigans to Birdland. Lenk sang his viral hits, including Leslie Uggams' "June Is Busting Out All Over" and Adele's "Similar," as well as long-forgotten favorites from the Lenk vault of comedy songs, including "Heidi Klum Christmas" and "The Cold Pressed Juice Cleanse Song."
The Broadway at Birdland concert series takes place every Monday at the iconic music room, located at 315 West 44 Street, in the heart of New York's Theater District.
