Photo Flash: London's Billy Elliot Welcomes New Stars

Jackie Clune and Corey Snide are among the new cast members of Billy Elliot, the acclaimed Elton John musical based on the hit film.

Clune (Mamma Mia! international tour, "EastEnders") plays ballet instructor Mrs. Wilkinson and Snide is among the rotating cast of young actors playing Billy Elliot. Press notes state, "Billy Elliot: The Musical is set in the North East and is a funny, heart-warming and feel-good celebration of one young boy's dreams. This new staging of Billy Elliot: The Musical is an adaptation of one of the most adored British films of the last decade which broke box office records across the world and was nominated for 3 Oscars and 13 BAFTA Awards."

Directed by Stephen Daldry, Elton John and Lee Hall's multi award-winning Billy Elliot: The Musical has been playing sold out shows at the Victoria Palace Theatre since March 2005 where it continues to pack houses. Productions of Billy Elliot: The Musical are due to open in Sydney, Australia in December this year, and a Broadway production is expected to open in New York in 2008.
