Photo Flash: John Gallagher Jr at Broadway Artists Alliance

John Gallagher Jr., the 2007 Tony Award-winner and current star of Spring Awakening, was the guest speaker for Broadway Artists Alliance's Summer Intensive (Session One) on Friday, August 3.

"Gallagher participated in a short 'Inside the Actor's Studio'-style Q&A and then spoke with the students as part of a 2-week Musical Theater Intensive at Ripley Grier Studios, New York.  A total of 30 current Broadway artists visit, mentor, and instruct the group of young and talented performers (ages 10-19) during this 2-week Master Class Series," states press notes.

Past Tony Award-winning guest speakers at the winter and summer intensives have included Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel, Jason Robert Brown, and John Lloyd Young.  The Session Two students will meet another Tony Award winner on Friday, August 10 and also take part in a Master Class with Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz on Thursday, August 9.
