Photo Flash: Israel Horovitz's LINE Grows Longer with New Stars
Israel Horovitz's longest-running play, LINE, draws closer to its 50th anniversary performance at the end of this year. A powerful group of actors have joined the rotating repertory of three full casts. Scroll down for photos!
International Artists, Thomaz Mussnich and Thaissa Yumi spar with each other as Stephen and Molly. Both Mussnich and Yumi are noted film actors in Brazil, now in NYC to further their careers. Actor/writer, Franco Pedicini has had great success bringing his own brand of edgy humor to the role of Dolan.
And the most recent addition is Andy Dispenza, having premiered as Stephen on February 20. Andy will be seen in the feature film, Contents Under Pressure, later this year.
Joining the rep within the month will be Ken Coughlin and Jonathan Levy as Fleming and Arnall. The rotating rep also includes Maritza Renae, Mario Claudio, Conor Mullen, Brady Richards, Robbie Gottlieb, Andrew Schwartz, and Ben Lerner.
LINE first opened at LaMama in November 1967 and eventually settled in 13th Street Repertory Theater (Joe Battista, artistic director) where this current incarnation is directed by Jay Michaels and produced and designed by Mary Elizabeth Micari.
