Tony nominee Will Swenson spent Sunday, October 18 mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as he led a Hair-themed master class with Broadway Artists Alliance. Swenson inspired, as he skillfully guided a master class in "Song Interpretation" to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21. Swenson's morning class was followed by an advanced audition technique workshop with a top casting representative from the Public Theater.
Broadway Artists Alliance is the dynamic educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together current Broadway artists and promising young performers ages 10 to 21.
BAA's 2009/2010 One Day Master Class series will continue with a special "College Audition Preparation" masterclass on Sunday, October 25th, led by Broadway director
Holly-Anne Ruggiero (Jersey Boys, White Noise) and the staff of Broadway Artists Alliance. Additional upcoming master classes include classes in the theme of Bye Bye Birdie (November 15), Billy Elliot (December 12), and Shrek (December 13). Broadway Artists Alliance will also host their annual Advanced Musical Theatre Winter Workshop February 13-15, 2010 as well as their popular Summer Intensive Program in July and August of 2010.
