Two new Janet Rickus paintings just arrived at the gallery. For the Borrowed Series, Rickus asked close friends to contribute something from their collection of everyday objects that they thought should be painted. In Borrowed Series I, the plums surround a ceramic pitcher made by Picasso, depicting a satyr.
