Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3's 2012-2013 season continues Monday, February 11 at 7pm with the opening of Luck of the Irish, a new play by Kristen Greenidge, directed by Rebecca Taichman, and featuring Marsha Stephanie Blake, Eisa Davis, Dashiell Eaves, Frank Harts, Robert Hogan, Jenny O'Hara, Carra Patterson, Amanda Quaid and Victor Williams, at the Claire Tow Theater, LCT3's new home atop the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street).

When an upwardly mobile African-American couple wants to buy a home in an all-white neighborhood of 1950's Boston, they pay a struggling Irish family to "ghost-buy" a house on their behalf. Fifty years later, the Irish family wants "their" house back. Moving across two eras, Luck of the Irish explores racial and social issues and the universal longing for home.

Luck of the Irish has by Mimi Lien, costumes by Oana Botez, lighting by Justin Townsend and sound by Matt Tierney.

Kirsten Greenidge is the author of Bossa Nova, Milk Like Sugar, Rust, The Curious Walk of the Salamander, Sans-Culottes in the Promised Land, 103 Within the Veil, and The Gibson Girl. Her work has been developed and produced at many theaters nationally including Playwrights Horizons, the Huntington Theatre Company, South Coast Rep, New Dramatists, Mark Taper Forum, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Guthrie Theater, McCarter Theatre and the Humana Festival of New American Plays.

LUCK OF THE IRISH is performed Monday and Tuesday through Sunday evenings at 7pm, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets, priced at $20, are available at the Lincoln Center Theater box office, telecharge.com or by visiting www.lct3.org.
