On Monday, March 4, Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com were proud to present the Grammy nominated musical-theater team of MICHAEL HEITZMAN and ILENE REID, as part of the long-running, critically-heralded and popular concert series Broadway at Birdland.

For their Birdland debut HEITZMAN and REID were joined by many of Broadway's finest performers - Judy McLane (Mamma Mia!), Klea Blackhurst (Everything the Traffic Will Allow), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Danielle Greaves (Hairspray), Beth Malone (Ring of Fire), Q Smith (Les Misérables ), Joi Danielle Price (Mamma Mia!), Devin Richards (The Pajama Game) and many others including the reunion of the three fabulous "BINGO!" Broads, Liz McCartney, Liz Larsen, and Janet Metz.

MICHAEL HEITZMAN and ILENE REID'S were last featured in the Off-Broadway hit, "BINGO!". HEITZMAN and REID'S Birdland debut will include an evening of songs from past shows, trunk songs and some new material. HEITZMAN and REID will also unveil songs from their new work in progress. Their music has been called "witty" and "well-crafted," with "songs that bring down the house" (Los Angeles Times).Grammy nominated for their participation in the Broadway musical Swing, HEITZMAN and REID'S show was herald as a "joyful, fun, scat-singin', jitter-buggin', hip-poppin' show".
