Photo Coverage: IRC Hosts 2017 Rescue Dinner

The Rescue Dinner is the International Rescue Committee's signature annual fundraising gala. The event brings together more than 800 luminaries from the corporate, philanthropic, diplomatic and media communities in support of the organization's vital humanitarian work around the world.
For more than 80 years the mission of the International Rescue Committee has been to provide aid and sanctuary to refugees and families caught in the world's worst humanitarian crises. At this time in history, when 24 people are forced from their homes every minute, their work has never been more needed.
During this special evening, the IRC honored Michael Bloomberg for his commitment to improving the lives of people around the world and Liv Ullmann for her compassionate advocacy on behalf of refugees and families caught in crisis.
