Photo Coverage: Edward Albee Honored at the SAGE Awards

SAGE, Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders, honored Edward Albee at their 10th Annual SAGE Awards Benefit Reception and Dinner on November 13th from 6-10 PM at the Ritz-Carlton. The event also honored JPMorgan Chase, The New York Community Trust and Jennifer Hatch., as well as the three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of Who's Afraid or Virginia Woolf?, The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?, A Delicate Balance, Tiny Alice, Three Tall Women, Seascape and others.

The evening's program included tributes by Terrence McNally and Elizabeth Ireland McCann and participation by Marian Seldes, Elaine Stritch, Brian Murray and other special guests.

SAGE Awards are presented each year to individuals, organizations, and companies who have made significant contributions and thereby enriched the lives of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) persons, particularly the senior and elder members of the GLBT community.
