On Monday evening, December 19th, BroadwayWorld.com, the premiere theatre site on the web, presented its first Holiday Concert - at the legendary nightclub, Birdland. Some of the stage's brightest stars came together to help celebrate the season, with a set of standards, inspirational songs, humor, and, of course, "jingle." Our Musical Director was Mark Hartman, assisted by Michael Blanco on bass and Sean McDaniel on drums. The kind folks at Birdland supplied beautiful lighting and sound.

All proceeds from the evening will go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, as we continue to show support for this great organization.

Producer Rob Diamond and the evening's Director Eddie Varley - introducing the concert and promising "not to sing!"

"I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" featuring Bill Weeden as Santa Claus and Natalie Joy Johnson with...

Sean Curley of The Broadway Kids (now playing at the Lamb's Theatre through December 30th), singing the tune.

Billy Porter - "What's Goin' On?"

Surprise guest John Tartaglia sang his favorite Christmas tune, before zipping downtown, where he's starring in NEWSICAL.

Mandy Gonzalez delivering a delicious vocal on
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

Erin Leigh Peck - "Christmas in Miami" - a song that she's wanted to sing for years!

Ron Bohmer - "Silent Night" / Elton John's "Tonight"

Ron was joined by former FORBIDDEN BROADWAY co-star
Felicia Finley, for a rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside"

Natalie Joy Johnson - "The Christmas Song: Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire"

Rob Maitner - a very funny interpretation of the Maltby & Shire classic, "I Don't Remember Christmas"

Joey Dudding - who came all the way from
Pennsylvania to do the "Jingle Bell Rock"

Richard Jay-Alexander hit a nerve with the audience, singing Flaherty & Ahrens' "All Those Christmas Cliches"

Andrea McArdle dazzled, as usual, with material from her
McARDLE FAMILY CHRISTMAS Holiday Show

Ben Toth joined Andrea on "Christmastime is Here," the classic from A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS...

...as did her brother Michael McArdle, as the trio finished with "Celebrate Me Home"

Felicia Finley "Oh, Holy Night"

The entire cast joined Felicia, and brought the show to
an emotional close with "Seasons of Love," from
Jonathan Larson's RENT - which affectionately embraces
the holidays in New York City

Happy Holidays and See You Next Year!
