Peter Hermann has been cast in the upcoming Broadway production of Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio.

"Hermann, most recently seen as Lawyer Trevor Langan on TV's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and as Jeremy Glick in this year's film United 93, will star opposite the previously-announced Liev Schreiber in the play, which will begin performances on February 9th at the Longacre Theatre.

Hermann currently appears in the Drama Dept.'s presentation of Douglas Carter Beane's The Cartells. His stage credits include The Gathering, opposite Theodore Bikel, Titus Andronicus and Antony and Cleopatra, both with Target Margin Theatre, and Jeff Weiss's Hot Keys. Hermann made his Broadway debut in the 2001 National Actors Theatre staging of Judgment at Nuremberg. For Talk Radio, Peter assumes the role of Dan Woodruff, Executive Producer of WTLK radio which plays host to Schreiber's fast talking radio show host Barry Champlain."

Robert Falls, Tony-winning Director of 1999's Death Of A Salesman, whose other credits include Long Day's Journey Into Night and Shining City on Broadway, will stage the production.

Bogosian's work includes Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, SubUrbia, Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Sex, Drugs, & Rock & Roll, and Drinking in America (Drama Desk Award). Talk Radio was a nominated finalist for the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  This is Bogosian's first play to be produced on Broadway.  In addition, he has written screenplays for several motion pictures.  His second novel was published last year.

The design team for Talk Radio is Mark Wendland (sets), Laura Bauer (costumes), Christopher Akerlind (lighting), and Richard Woodbury (sound).

The producing team is Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and JAM Theatricals.

Talk Radio will play Tuesday-Saturday at 8PM, Wednesdays & Saturdays at 2PM, and Sundays at 3PM.  Tickets are available through Telecharge:  (212) 239-6200
