Show Expects to Resume on Tuesday

Performances of Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway are being cancelled today Sunday, December 12th at 2PM and 7:30PM due to overnight detection of positive COVID test results in the company.

The show is expected to resume on Tuesday, December 14th at 7PM.

Daily testing of everyone at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre allows the opportunity to isolate anyone who tests positive for the wellness and safety of audiences, cast, crew and theatre staff.

Ticket buyers will be contacted by Telecharge.com for exchanges and refunds.

Mrs. Doubtfire features Tony Award nominee Rob McClure as Daniel Hillard/Mrs. Doubtfire, Jenn Gambatese as Miranda Hillard, Peter Bartlett as Mr. Jolly, Charity Angél Dawson as Wanda Sellner, Mark Evans as Stuart Dunmire, J. Harrison Ghee as Andre Mayem, Analise Scarpaci as Lydia Hillard, Jake Ryan Flynn as Christopher Hillard, Avery Sell as Natalie Hillard and Brad Oscar as Frank Hillard. Mrs. Doubtfire will also feature Cameron Adams, Calvin L. Cooper, Kaleigh Cronin, Maria Dalanno, Casey Garvin, David Hibbard, KJ Hippensteel, Aaron Kaburick, Jodi Kimura, Erica Mansfield, Brian Martin, Alexandra Matteo, Sam Middleton, LaQuet Sharnell Pringle, Akilah Sailers, Jaquez André Sims, Addison Takefman, Travis Waldschmidt and Aléna Watters.

Helmed by four time-Tony Award winning director Jerry Zaks, the new musical comedy features a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten! The creative is rounded out by choreographer Lorin Latarro; Music Supervisor, Arranger and Orchestrator Ethan Popp; Scenic Designer David Korins; Costume Designer Catherine Zuber; Lighting Designer, Philip S. Rosenberg; Sound Designer Brian Ronan; Hair & Wig Designer David Brian Brown; and Make-up & Prosthetics Designer Tommy Kurzman.

The HIillard family is back on Broadway! After a brief hiatus, Mrs. Doubtfire has returned to its home at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, where it is bringing audiences to their feet eight times a week. Five small reasons for its success are the talented young actors playing the Hillard kids- Austin Elle Fisher, Titus Landegger, Ava Gail Prince, and Tyler Wladis, who are making their Broadway debuts, and Analise Scarpaci, who returns to the show following its break.
