Pea Green Solutions Names Marco Barreto Creative Director

Pea Green Solutions today announced the promotion of its Art Director, Marco Barreto, an MFA graduate of the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts, to the position of Creative Director.

"As a full-service advertising firm focused on branding through storytelling, we are proud to promote Marco Barreto to Creative Director," said CEO Samantha Strickland. "His background as a filmmaker and marketing professional uniquely positions him to tell our clients' stories in a compelling way."

In the seven months Barreto has served as Art Director at Pea Green Solutions, Inc., the firm has been awarded two local Addy awards and two national CUNA Diamond awards. The Colombian-born artist/filmmaker has also led several major branding projects for the firm, including a television commercial shoot for a local weight loss client.

Barreto's work has been published in numerous trade magazines and he has won more than a dozen international design contests. Mr. Barreto also won a student Emmy for art direction of the short film, The Planeteer, created through the MFA program in Film Production at the Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. He recently returned from Roswell, N.M., where he worked as on-set dresser for The Rambler, a new film starring Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding) that will be screened at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
