Patti LuPone Takes The Ice Bucket Challenge, Nominates Baldwin & Lange
Legendary multi-award-winning stage and screen star Patti LuPone participates in the popular ALS awareness-raising Ice Bucket Challenge as part of a new social media video now available to view.
"I just want to say: we can all relax! The Metropolitan Opera has been saved; the contracts have been settled," LuPone begins while seated in a picaresque beach scene.
Then, LuPone theatrically opens a note from Audra McDonald, which she reads before being inundated with a deluge of icy water.
Too funny - and too perfect!
Of note, LuPone was nominated to take part in The Challenge earlier this week by frequent co-star Audra McDonald.
Additionally, LuPone nominates 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin, American Horror Story co-star Jessica Lange and Family Guy co-star Alex Borstein.
