The legendary Patti LaBelle marked an impressive debut with her first Jazz release, Bel Hommage, on her label imprint GPE Records, in partnership with Sony Red.

In its first week, Bel Hommage debuted at #2 on Billboard's Top Current Jazz Albums and Current Traditional Jazz Albums charts. On the Billboard Independent label chart, she closed out the top ten. On the Amazon jazz chart, the album is currently #3 and #8 at R&B.

The 50-plus year-veteran of R&B and soul released her first studio album in ten years with a beautiful collection of jazz favorites and American classics featuring singles, "The Jazz In You," "Moanin'," and "Moody's Mood for Love" featuring KEM.

LaBelle has been promoting the album across jazz, satellite and Internet radio platforms, as well as via national television performances, social media and advertising, and live appearances. She performed music from the new album on StEve Harvey, which aired May 22nd.
