Pasek & Paul DOGFIGHT Album Release Concert, 5/15

Lauded musical theatre composing duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will join special guests for a one-night-only concert event at Joe's Pub on May 15 in support of the release of the Ghostlight recording of their new original cast album for DOGFIGHT.

The Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of DOGFIGHT, which was performed at Second Stage last year, will be released on May 21 - though it is available digitally this week - and fans will get a chance to grab a signed copy before it is officially out while attending the event, as well.

In addition to performing songs from DOGFIGHT, the composing team will also share stories and join special guests on some of their best-known songs from their other musical endeavors.

Tunes from their most recent Broadway foray, A CHRISTMAS STORY - which received multiple Drama Desk nominations this morning - will be included, as will a melody or two from their international hit EDGES and the family-focused Roald Dahl adaptation JAMES & THE GIANT PEACH.

Who knows, maybe even one of their original tunes for SMASH will make the set-list!
