American Ballet Theatre's Studio Company performance on Friday, April 5 at 7:30pm will include full performances of Alexei Ratmansky's Le Carnaval Des Animaux, Paul Taylor's Airs, Raymond Luken's Jerusalem Divertissement and George Balanchine's Tarantella. The show will be part of the second annual "Pace Presents" program, a series of performing and visual arts programs.

American Ballet Theatre's Studio Company is comprised of 12 dancers of outstanding potential that are aged 16-20. Under the Artistic Direction of ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Principal Franco De Vita, members of this pre-professional training program participate in an extensive schedule of classes including ballet technique, pointe, variations, partnering, modern, and dance history. In addition, the Studio Company gains performance experience through residencies, cultural exchanges and local performances.

ABT Studio Company dancers work closely with members of ABT's Artistic Staff and guest faculty to learn ABT repertoire and other masterworks by noted choreographers including George Balanchine, Marius Petipa, August Bournonville, Antony Tudor, Paul Taylor and Jerome Robbins, as well as emerging classical and contemporary choreographers.

The current members of American Ballet Theatre Studio Company are Juan Hose Carazo Arranz, Katerina Eng, Catherine Hurlin, Lyndsay Karchin, Pasha Knopp, Carolyn Lippert, Hannah Marshall, Xavier Nunez, Oliver Oguma, Alexandra Pullen. Kyle Torres-Hiyosha and Jun Xia.

Ticket prices for American Ballet Theatre Studio Company at The Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University range from $25 to $40. Student rush tickets available day of performance with valid student ID. The performance will take place on Friday April 5 at 7:30pm.
