On April 10th, PS Classics will release Georgia Stitt's debut album.

"Georgia Stitt: Pieces" features twelve of Stitt's songs - each performed by a Broadway talent.  Singers include (in order): Andrea Burns, Matthew Morrison, Jenn Colella, Lauren Kennedy, Cheyenne Jackson, Tituss Burgess, Carolee Carmello, Keith Byron Kirk, Faith Prince, Sara Ramirez, Will Chase, Kelli O'Hara, and Susan Egan.

Stitt, with many of the CD's stars, will celebrate the album with a concert at Birdland on April 9th; more information will be announced.

Stitt is currently involved as a vocal coach for potential Danny's and Sandy's in the reality show talent seach "Grease: You're the One That I Want."  Starting this Sunday, she can be seen on the NBC show.

Stitt is a composer, lyricist, musical director, conductor, arranger, and pianist. She has written several works for the theater, including the two-act musical, The Water, written with Jeff Hylton and Tim Werenko, and Lizan, with Bil Wright. At present she is developing two new musicals: Big Red Sun, a WWII-era story with playwright John Jiler, and Sing Me A Happy Song, a musical revue with composer/lyricist David Kirshenbaum. She has recently recorded Alphabet City Cycle, a song cycle for soprano and violin with lyricist Marcy Heisler, which was premiered by the New Voices Collective, of which she is a founding member.

In addition, two of her pieces - "A Better Resurrection" and "The Promise of Light" - have been published by Walton Music.
