The Palace Theatre box office (1564 Broadway) will open at 10:00am on Monday, January 24 to celebrate the Broadway arrival of the global hit stage production PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL.

To mark the occasion, the producers are pleased to announce a number of appropriately fabulous giveaways and a series of enter to win contests!

"Priscilla pink" hot chocolate will be served in line in Times Square as ticket buyers enter for a chance to win a $725 Manolo Blahnik gift certificate.

The first 100 people to purchase tickets will also receive a special double CD of dance music inspired by PRISCILLA.

Enter-to-win contests will be held for a chance to sit in on the Original Broadway Cast Album recording session in New York on January 25, complimentary dinners at Australian restaurants Sunburnt Cow, Sunburnt Calf and Bondi Road and a PRISCILLA Opening Night package including a pair of tickets to the March 20 performance and after party with the cast and creative team. All offers will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Following its critically acclaimed North American debut engagement in Toronto, the spectacular new stage musical arrives on Broadway at The Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) when previews begin Monday, February 28 toward an official opening on Sunday, March 20, 2011.

Featuring a score of over 20 dance-floor classics and with a dazzling array of more than 500 outrageous costumes, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL is a sensational journey to the heart of fabulous.

Adapted from the Academy Award® winning film "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert," PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL, is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott. Direction is by Simon Phillips, choreography by Ross Coleman, musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen ‘Spud' Murphy and set design by Brian Thomson. Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner have re-created their Academy Award® winning costume designs originally designed for the film. Lighting is designed by Nick Schlieper and sound design is by Jonathan Deans. BAFTA Award winning make up design is recreated by Cassie Hanlon.

PRISCILLA will play the following schedule from March 14 - March 20, 2011:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8p, Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2p; Sunday evening at 6:30p (Opening Night). Dark Monday.

PRISCILLA will play the following schedule beginning March 21, 2011:
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8p, Tuesday evenings at 7p, Sunday evenings at 7:30p. Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2p. Dark Wednesday.
