Philly Improv Theater will be auditioning replacement cast members for the resident companies, Activity Book and Fletcher. Actors are free to audition for just one of the groups, or audition for both.

Fletcher, which hold weekly rehearsals on Thursdays, from 7pm-9:30pm is a resident group of the Philly Improv Theater who have performed in houses all over Philadelphia, as well as in Baltimore and New York. They have appeared at the prestigious Del Close Improv Marathon and been positively reviewed by the Philadelphia City Paper. They are directed by Scott Sheppard (formerly of Illegal Refill).

Activity Book, which holds weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:30pm-9:30pm, is an original resident group of the Philly Improv Theater that has performed at the Baltimore Improv Group, UCB Theatre (as part of the Del Close Marathon), and headlined LeHigh University's first ever College Comedy Festival. They are directed by Rick Horner (founding producer of the Philadelphia Improv Festival and founding member of the Improv Incubator).

Auditions will be held on Sunday, November 8 at the Shubin Theatre from 12pm - 3pm. Callbacks will be held during the rehearsal time for each respective group in the following week, to be announced. All ages, both male and female are encouraged to audition.

To audition, actors must email PHIT (contact@phillyimprovtheater.com) and request a time. Inquiries should include name, email address, and telephone number. Actors will then receive a response with an assigned audition time. Auditions are open to everyone, including those who are currently working with PHIT or have worked with PHIT in the past. Everyone who is interested in being cast in either of the projects below must attend auditions.
