E! News reports exclusively that Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway (LES MISERABLES) has given birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman. Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman arrived early on March 24th in Los Angeles.

Hathaway's rep confirmed the news to a source who shared, "The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A. Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."

Hathaway won an Academy Award for her role in LES MISERABLES. She most recently appeared on the big screen in THE INTERN. Among her recent film credits are INTERSTELLAR, SONG ONE, DON JON, LES MISERABLES and more.

She recently starred in GROUNDED at The Public Theater and has previously appeared onstage in TWELFTH NIGHT at Shakespeare in the Park, as well as a 2005 benefit performance of CHILDREN AND ART and Encores! concert production of CARNIVAL! in 2002.
