The original cast recording of the 1970 musical 'Cry For Us All' will be released on CD in November. The melodramatic musical features music by Mitch Leigh, lyrics by William Alfred and Phyllis Robinson, and book by William Alfred and Albert Marre. The show was adapted from Alfred's 1966 off-Broadway play, 'Hogan's Goat'.

'Cry For Us All' opened at the Broadhurst Theater on April 8, 1970 under the direction of Marre. The show closed after only nine performances.

The cast included Joan Diener, Helen Gallagher, Tommy Rall, Steve Arlen, Paul Ukena, and Robert Weede. Weede earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. The show's set design garnered a nomination as well.

'Cry For Us All' received two Tony Award nominations, one for Weede (Best Actor in a Musical) and one for scenic designer Howard Bay.

This release is limited to 1000 copies only. For further information, and to listen to song samples, visit: www.kritzerland.com.
