Open Calls Held for Rent, Wicked, Hairspray in Boston, Aug. 30-31

Bernard Telsey Casting is holding open call auditions for singers for
the Broadway company and first national tour of Hairspray, the Broadway company of Rent, and the Broadway and Chicago productions, as well as the first national tour, of Wicked. The auditions will be held at the Four Points Norwood Conference Center (1125 Boston Turnpike) in Norwood, Massachusetts on Tuesday, August 30th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm and on Wednesday, August 31st from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Conference Center is located 5 miles from Gillette Stadium and 18 miles south of Boston (visit www.fourpointsnorwood.com for directions).Those planning to attend the open calls should prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock song showing off vocal range and ability to sing a
cappella. "Bring sheet music if you have it; you may be asked to sing
with the piano. Bring a photo (snapshots are fine) and a resume if you
have one."Both non-Equity and Equity singers of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend, and no previous theatrical experience is necessary.
