Roundabout Theatre Company's Old Acquaintance is heading into the final two weeks of performances. The strict limited engagements of the play concludes on Sunday, August 19th at 2:00 PM.

Margaret Colin and Harriet Harris star in John van Druten's drawing room comedy, directed by Michael Wilson at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St).

On August 19th, Old Acquaintance will have played 31 preview performances and 61 regular performances.  Previews began on Friday, June 1st, 2007 and opened officially on Thursday, June 28th, 2007.

The cast also includes Stephen Bogardus (Preston Drake), Diane Davis (Deirdre Drake), Corey Stoll (Rudd Kendall), Cynthia Darlow (Susan) and Gordana Rashovich (Karina).

Old Acquaintance is "a delightful drawing-room comedy about two childhood friends who have grown into very different adults. Though they are both successful authors, independent Katharine "Kit" Markham (Colin) carries on an affair with a younger man while divorcee Mildred "Milly" Drake (Harris) refuses to loosen the apron-strings on her teenage daughter, Deirdre (Davis). But when Deirdre's struggles to become more like her idol Kit have far-reaching consequences, the two women who thought they were growing apart may have much more in common than they'd like to admit," state press notes.

Tickets are available by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212)719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the American Airlines box office (227 West 42nd St.).

Old Acquaintance plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00PM with a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00PM.  Ticket prices range from $51.25 - $86.25.
