As previously reported, President Barack Obama has chosen SISTER ACT for his first Broadway fundraiser of his re-elction campaign. The event, which will be held today, will be hosted by SISTER ACT producer Whoopi Goldberg. Tickets for the special performance range from $250 to $10,000 (the latter of which includes a photo shoot with the President). Also while in town, Obama will host a second fundraiser with the gay community. Justin Bieber will also be in town for promotional appearences, further adding to the expected traffic gridlock in midtown today.

According to Gridlock Sam in the New York Daily News, Obama's chopper will land at Wall Street.  His "first stop is the Sheraton at 53rd St. and Seventh Ave. The President will motorcade from Wall St. up the FDR Drive to the 42nd St. exit and cut crosstown. The FDR below 63rd St. and all avenues east of Seventh will be frozen. Truck restrictions on Seventh Ave. will be in effect...About 7 p.m., the President will head to the upper East Side for dinner at Restaurant Daniel at 65th St. and Park Ave. All avenues from Seventh through Park will be frozen, and 65th St. will be closed...The final stop of the evening is the Broadway Theatre on W. 52nd St. about 9p.m. All avenues from Park to Eighth will be frozen, and 52nd St. will be closed. The President is scheduled to depart from JFK about 10:30 p.m., with one last freezeon all avenues east of Eighth as the motorcade heads back to the FDR andthe Wall St. Heliport. All buses east ofEighth Ave. will face delays between 5p.m. and 11 p.m."

Justin Bieber will be on The View this morning, broadcasting from 66th and West End at 11am, and then head to Herald Square for an early afternoon meet and greet with fans.

Those planning on taking in a Broadway show this evening will likely be better off on foot.
