A young woman struggles to find identity and purpose the only way she knows how: Through the eyes and voices of her imagined world of diverse characters. Inspired by the questions she grapples with daily, she contemplates human desires, faith, love, and passion through her struggle to find raw and ultimate presence.

Catherine Dupont originally wrote ORANGES as her thesis project for the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program, where she performed the show in May of 2014. The show was a sincere approach to the questions, struggles, fears, and joys that Catherine faced as a soon-to-be graduate, about to enter the real world again. Now, after relocating to New York City, ORANGES has taken on a whole new meaning as Catherine has re-imagined her original one-woman-show to approach the questions and circumstances she deals with today. Follow this young woman as she floats in and out of her imaginative and original characters during her attempt to experience what is means to achieve true presence. What she ultimately finds will stretch far past the walls of her own imagination. ORANGES is an ever-evolving project that will grapple with different issues today, than it will tomorrow. Catherine is thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to share this show in New York City at the 2015 United Solo Theatre Festival. The performance will be held on September 30th, 2015 at 3:30pm.
