NewMusicalTheatre.com will celebrate its recent website launch with a one-night-only live concert at NYC's (Le) Poisson Rouge on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10pm. The event will not only salute the website's launch, but will celebrate the future of musical theater by bringing together an unparalleled group of young songwriters.

Presented by Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records, the show will highlight the work of the original six writers represented on the site - Nick Blaemire (Glory Days), Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days), Joe Iconis (The Black Suits, Things to Ruin), Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, Tales from the Bad Years), Ryan Scott Oliver (Mrs. Sharp, Darling), and Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, Dogfight).

The concert will bring together the next generation of musical theater writers with this generation's most celebrated performers -- with a starry lineup of performers to be announced shortly.

The concert is being directed by David Ruttura with music direction by Matt Hinkley, and is being produced by Kurt Deutsch and Noah Cornman of Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records, in association with Katie Riegel and Joey Oliva of jokr Productions and John Johnson.

(Le) Poisson Rouge is located at 158 Bleecker Street (at Thompson Street), New York, NY. Tickets for the concert are $22 and available now online at lepoissonrouge.com (http://lepoissonrouge.com/events/view/1191).
