The New York Russian Jewish Youth Council (NYRJYC) kicks off the fall season on Thursday, September 2nd at 7PM with Eclectic Beat Box. The event will be at Soiree (199 Bowery St.) and features live musical performances, hip Israeli landscapes and some of the best bands the city has to offer. Tickets are $10; all proceeds from the event will go to benefit Sunrise Lake Camp, a residential summer camp in Cold Spring, New York that provides programming to children afflicted with cancer.

Headlining at Eclectic Beat Box will be Hank and Cupcakes; Brooklyn's buzz worthy drum and bass duo that will fill the stage with their infectious energy, generating a fierce groove that immediately has any crowd up and moving. Hank and Cupcakes have captivated New York with an explosive show noted for its simmering sensuality, irresistible dance pulse, and hard to pigeonhole sound. The event will also feature well-known indie-rock sensation Steven Baggs and his band The Constant whose sound lay somewhere between power-pop with a Goo Goo Dolls roister edge. Following Baggs
will be acoustic-rock musician Mathew Kiss who promises to captivate with his soulful and magnetic sound. There will be additional performances by The Isramerica Band featuring Israeli vocalists Judah Gavra, Yael Gonen and Rony Stav followed by Redox an up and coming, New York-based band that will rock out with their original material in English and Russian. Hosting the event will be Harrison Greenbaum and Manashe Khaimov. Greenbaum was an official co-host of the Times Square New Years' Eve World Wide Webcast, was recently featured on Spike TV and is currently headlining at famed Caroline's in New York. Eclectic Beat Box is co-produced by Sivan Hadari, founder of Isramerica; a NY-based non-profit known for bringing quality Israeli and Jewish-American performances to the New York City stage.
