Up and coming female artist Aja will open for Christopher Williams at B.B. King located at 237 West 42nd Street in NYC, Thursday, April 11th at 8PM. Recently signed to Christopher Williams' (CEO) Independent Record Label, HezLIght Music Entertainment, Aja brings a unique style to her artfully written lyrics and powerful songs. Combining her gift of storytelling with hip hop beats, rock guitars, and sprinklings of jazz undertones, Aja's sound will leave you wanting more.

"I have always been somewhat of a loner and many people have always considered me to be weird or eccentric so I don't have many friends. I grew up in a very good home and wanted for nothing, however, outside of my home I experienced poverty, drugs, alcohol and a lot of negative things that have been the heart and soul of my music today. Many people say I'm an "Old Soul" but I'm just Aja and I always bring real emotion to everything that I sing. To me, my music is a canvas that may never really be as it seems" -Aja

Hezlight Music Entertainment is the product of R&B singer and actor Christopher Williams, who first emerged on the music scene in the late '80s, rising to prominence with the success of singles like "I'm Dreamin'," "Talk to Myself," "Every Little Thing U Do," and "Promises, Promises." The nephew of legendary jazz chanteuse Ella Fitzgerald, he has also enjoyed a successful career as an actor, appearing in the film New Jack City (1991) and numerous Broadway productions, including A Good Man is Hard to Find, Men Cry in the Dark, and The Man He Used to Be. After releasing a string of albums in the late '80s and early '90s, he took a six-year hiatus from recording before releasing his latest album, Real Men Do, in 2001.
