The racy revue Naked Boys Singing! will be switching theatres once again.

The off-Broadway musical will close at the 47th Street Theatre on April 30th and then head to an old home. The show will re-open on May 6th at the Julia Miles Theatre, which is the former Theatre 4 where Naked Boys Singing! played back in spring of 2004.

The Naked Boys Singing! website (http://www.nakedboyssinging.com) describes the show as a celebration of "the splendors of male nudity in comedy, song and dance. Musical numbers range from the screamingly funny (like our sassy opening number "Gratuitous Nudity" or the circumcision-based "Bliss of a Bris") to poignant and moving numbers (such as "Kris Look What You've Missed" and "Window to Window")." Other musical numbers include "Fight the Urge," "Muscle Addiction," and "Nothing But the Radio On."

Naked Boys Singing! opened at the Actor's Playhouse on July 22, 1999 after having run successfully at the Celebration Theatre in LA.
Stephen Bates, Marie Cain, Shelly Markham, Jim Morgan, David Pevsner, Rayme Sciaroni, Mark Savage, Ben Schaechter, Robert Schrock, Mark Winkler and />Bruce Vilanch/> contributed songs and sketches. Schrock directed while />Jeffry Denman choreographed. Musical director Stephen Bates died in 2003.

Naked Boys Singing! plays on Fridays at 10:30 PM, and on Saturdays at 6 and 10:30 PM. The Julia Miles Theatre is located on 424 W. 55th Street, and tickets can be ordered through Telecharge--212 239 6200.
