This year marks the 16th anniversary of Galleria on Third (galleriaonthird.com) which has established a superb reputation for its museum quality framing (as seen with google.com's highest rating of any framing shop in the tristate area) and collection of original art work. The gallery also has a reputation for giving back, having hosted over a dozen benefit art shows for organizations such as World Vision, Smile Train, Bellevue Hospital, Clean Water Initiative and many more. In addition to their benefit work, Galleria on Third (3rd & 36th Street, NYC) has also featured the work of upcoming artist as well as celebrated artists including Romero Brito, DeLaVega, Marc Tetro, and fashion icon and TV personality Carson Kressley.

To celebrate 16 years in business Galleria on Third will host a "Sweet 16" party on Thursday, December 9, 2015 at 6:30 - 8:30PM. And as a thank you to the Murray Hill community the first 16 people to arrive will receive FREE Framed art work valued at $175.

"I have been very blessed to be a part of such an amazing city, who welcomed me so many years ago. I have been fortunate to meet some fantastic people who have helped me build something I am very proud of. As with all small businesses, it has not been easy, but I would not trade that for the world. All the rough times make the good time so much more rewarding. I am thankful that I have been in a position to help others and look forward to another 16 years surrounded by beautiful art and wonderful people." Galleria on Third owner, Shadin Hossain.

About Galleria on Third's Shadin Hossain

Shadin Hossain migrated from Bangladesh to New York City when he was 17 years old. He arrived without knowledge of the culture or the language, and was thrilled to be employed in any job that would have him. After many years he landed a job that would soon become his career, he was hired by a small framing shop. Art has always been lifetime hobby when he was in Bangladesh, but working in NY left little time to work on his craft, but his enthusiasm for art was a determining factor in his success at the framing shop, and he truly exceled beyond expectations. Learning a trade and offering first rate customer service coupled with a series of fortunate events allowed Shadin to follow his American dream and open his own farming gallery.

After years of advising and framing other artist's work, Shadin has finally returned to his youthful passion and is creating his own original art work. He has developed a process that transforms fine art prints into sophisticated three dimensional designs that have been received by his patrons with great enthusiasm. He continues to develop mixed -medium pieces that are eye-popping, unique, and whimsical that truly encapsulates his sense of charity and generosity.
