NEWSIES' LaVon Fisher-Wilson Welcomes Baby Girl

She's just a Broadway baby! LaVon Fisher-Wilson, (Broadway's Newsies, The Color Purple and Chicago) and husband Darrell C. Wilson Sr. are excited to announce the arrival of their first daughter, DaVonna Bessiella Wilson.
DaVonna was born on July 25th, 2014 at 11:34am weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 19 inches long.
The couple also have two sons, Darrell Wilson Jr. and Darrien Wilson.
LaVon performed the role of 'Medda' in NEWSIES into her ninth month of pregnancy, marking her final performance just a couple of weeks ago.
LaVon Fisher-Wilson has also appeared on Broadway as 'Sophia' in The Color Purple and 'Matron "Mama" Morton' in Chicago. Regional credits include Once on This Island, Jelly's Last Jam, Dreamgirls, Three Mo' Tenors, The Rocky Horror Show, Crowns and Hello Dolly.
