MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announced today that due to an overwhelming response from audiences, the brand new production at Radio City Music Hall, New York Spring Spectacular, presented by Chase, will extend its run through May 7, 2015. The added performances are Wednesday, May 6 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM and Thursday, May 7 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM. New York Spring Spectacular, which is jointly produced by Madison Square Garden Entertainment and Weinstein Live Entertainment, has already captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers and visitors alike with multiple sold out performances to date at New York's biggest theatre. Tickets go on sale for additional performances on Monday, April 13 at noon atwww.rockettes.com/spring.

Audience reaction to New York Spring Spectacular has been overwhelmingly positive in its first year. New York Spring Spectacular is poised to become a springtime perennial to complement the long running and beloved Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Radio City Music Hall has always been known for its spectacular productions and New York Spring Spectacular raises the bar for live entertainment at this storied venue.

New York Spring Spectacular takes audiences on a whirlwind adventure across New York City, while telling an inspiring and hopeful narrative about New Yorkers who change each other's lives in unexpectedly wonderful ways. The brand-new, live theatrical production stars Tony Award winner Laura Benanti in the role of Jenna, Emmy Award winning choreographer Derek Hough in the role of Jack and the legendary Rockettes. The production also includes cameos from some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment including Whoopi Goldberg as the voice of the Statue of Liberty puppet, Bella Thorne as the voice of the Alice in Wonderland puppet, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as the voices of the New York Public Library lion puppets and video cameos featuring Henrik Lundqvist, Carmelo Anthony, Kelly Ripa, Donald Trump and more. The production is bursting with invigorating new Rockettes choreography, incredible 3D special effects, large-scale puppetry and an exciting soundtrack of pop hits, original music and classics.

New York Spring Spectacular is led by an award-winning creative team that includes Tony and Drama Desk Award winner Warren Carlyle as director and choreographer, Tony Award winning director and Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) Diane Paulus and American playwright and Drama Desk Award winner Randy Weiner as the show's co-creative directors, Emmy Award winner Mia Michaels as the choreographer of the production's opening number, and up-and-coming playwright Joshua Harmon.
