Following his first Broadway fling in the romantic musical comedy FIRST DATE, Zachary Levi may soon bring some of his song-and-dance talent to the small screen.

According to Deadline, NBC has enlisted Levi and Eva Longoria to executive produce a new musical comedy series, tentatively titled TUNED. Though no deal is in place, the network is reportedly intent on getting the former CHUCK actor to sign on to also star in the project.

TUNED is officially described as "a musical half-hour about an ambitious New Yorker...whose life is upended by sudden musical hallucinations. While these vivid hallucinations threaten to completely derail his enviable life, he'll eventually realize the hallucinations might lead him on a more fulfilling journey."

Levi recently made his Broadway debut in the musical 'First Date.' He was last seen on NBC's hit show "Chuck." He was recently seen on the big screen in 2013 release of the Marvel film Thor: The Dark World in the role of Fandral the Dashing. He also recently appeared in feature films as the lead role opposite Mandy Moore in Disney's twist on its classic Rapunzel, entitled Tangled.

Levi appeared for four seasons of the hit ABC sitcom "Less than Perfect," as the quick-witted, scheming Kip Steadman. He also earned great reviews for his appearances on the hit shows, "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "The Division" and for his supporting role in the FX television movie Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie.
