Musicals Mondays Announces Spring '07 Season

Musical Mondays Theatre Lab has announced its spring '07 season season, featuring new work from the 2006 Tony-honored BMI-LEhman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.

The readings will be presented by Anne L. Bernstein, Mary Ellen Ashley and Marter Productions, with Bick Goss and Frank Evans as artistic producing directors.

On Monday, March 12th, two new mini-musicals will be presented.  The Mitzvah of Madison Avenue, billed as a "Spiritual Comic Tale," features music by Carl J. Danielsen and lyrics by Sara Wordsworth.  The Rubberers, based on O. Henry's "A Comedy in Rubber," features book and lyrics by Matthew Hardy and music by Robert Maggio. 

On Monday, March 26th, See Rock City (and other destinations): Selections from a Musical Travelogue will be presented.  The musical features music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias.       

On Monday, April 23rd, Queen Esther will be performed.  The show is described as "A musical comedy for all ages based on the story of Purim from the writers of I Love You Because.  The show features music by Joshua Salzman and book and lyrics by Ryan Cunningham.
